Neo-slip® Visits Dragons Den

Neo-Slip were delighted to be a guest on Dragons’ Den where we had the opportunity to share our message about the unnecessary deaths caused by deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and our solution to the problem in the form of the

Neo-Slip anti-embolism stocking aid.

Neomi, the creator of Neo-Slip as well as a practising nurse, presented her invention to the dragons. Working as a nurse requires excellent communication skills built upon a strong foundation of subject knowledge. At times a nurse will need to answer tough questions from rather intimidating doctors. However, facing the dragons was far scarier!

Sometimes in order to achieve goals as an entrepreneur or to bring about change for good, scary situations need to be faced and conquered.

We are very happy that Dragons’ Den enabled us to inform millions of viewers about the dangers of DVT and Neo-Slip. It will aid us in reaching our goals of reducing the discomfort of patients who wear anti-embolism stockings, helping nurses and carers apply the stockings in the best manner for the patient, encouraging patients to keep wearing their stockings and so prevent lives being lost to this preventable problem.
